We are a Rural Events & Wedding Venue designed for the Scottish weather, lochside, inside or both the choice is yours. The Barns and steadings retain many of the original features and fixtures, honouring the rustic atmosphere but with plenty of scope to put your own stamp on it, giving Cardney Steading Events a truly special feeling. Our spectacular scenery gives you endless ideas and photo opportunities.
The Dalradian
The Dalradian is our dining space with loch views and a covered balcony, perfect for your wedding breakfast and a smooth flow into the evening celebration.
The Cattle Shed
The Cattle Shed is a rustic reception space with a large dance floor, bar access and room for up to 200 guests for the evening reception.
The Old Mill
The Old Mill is one of the most atmospheric spaces at Cardney Steading. Stone walls, original beams and soft lighting create an intimate, emotive setting for ceremonies and meaningful moments.
Lochside Lawn
Our lochside ceremony area offers unforgettable outdoor backdrops for couples dreaming of a scenic Scottish wedding.
Woodland Clearing
Our woodland clearing feels secluded, romantic and distinctly Scottish, perfect for a truly nature inspired wedding.
Double Barrel Bar & Courtyard
Our unique bar sits at the heart of the steading, serving both the inside and outdoor courtyard with a wide canopy covered area.
The Fire Pit
Love surprises? Escape through the back of the bar area and warm yourself by the Fire Pit. Perfect for catching up and toasting marshmallows, hidden from the world. This little woodland clearing sits in the wake of Craig More, where children and adults gather to hear tales from its mysterious ‘Spooky Valley’.
Powder Room
When your wedding-day-glow needs a little topping up or you just need a break between dances, slip off to the Powder Room. Tucked away in the old stable block, this glamorous sanctuary is fully equipped with everything you need to reapply those finishing touches. Secure and lockable, it doubles as a safe place for special gifts and valuables while the party is in full swing.
Five Star Facilities
If you were expecting posh-portable toilets, a surprise waits behind the old stable doors at Cardney. From the start, we knew we wanted our guests to enjoy a truly 5-star experience, so you’ll find both our Ladies’ and Gents’ toilets meet the same standards as the rest of the venue. With the same creative flair, of course! The stable block also has disabled toilet facilities with baby changing and a separate lockable cloakroom.

Ample on-site car parking is provided.
With hard packing, beautiful paving and contoured landscaping our entire site is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
Overnight parking available.
Dog & Horse Friendly
Why not share your big day with your four-legged best friend. With our stunning countryside setting, we are ideally placed for you to bring along your furry friend or even ride your horse down the aisle!

For those looking to bring their horse to the wedding, we can provide a paddock and D.I.Y. livery.
